This two-part intensive workshop is designed for organizations that want to integrate Bitcoin into their fundraising and communication strategies. In two practical 3.5-hour sessions, we will guide your team step-by-step from the fundamentals to a feasible Bitcoin fundraising concept. In the first part, participants will develop an in-depth understanding of Bitcoin, blockchain, and the underlying economic and social principles. We will explore why Bitcoin is particularly relevant for non-profits as a form of donation, analyze international best practices, and discuss opportunities and risks in the German and Austrian contexts. This includes not only the technology but also the values of the Bitcoin community, such as transparency and decentralization. The second part of the workshop focuses entirely on practical application. Together, we will develop a concrete implementation scenario for your organization: from institutional readiness and selecting a suitable wallet to legal and tax issues, communication strategies, and integrating Bitcoin into existing donation channels. . ...
