Markus Lejsek

As a passionate fundraiser, I advise both Austrian and international non-profit organisations (NPOs). I specialise in securing large and corporate donations. I have always placed particular emphasis on innovative fundraising methods, such as the use of Bitcoin and artificial intelligence.

At 21NPO, I use my experience to develop strategies and campaigns that help organisations access new sources of funding.

I've been an enthusiastic Bitcoin user since 2017. With over 25 years of experience in development cooperation, I have firsthand knowledge of the challenges and needs of civil society. I'm involved with Bitcoin Austria and DLT Austria and regularly attend Bitcoin conferences.

At 21NPO, I help organizations understand the technical and institutional aspects of Bitcoin donations and implement them securely in practice.

We met in 2022 while working in international development cooperation and quickly realized that there was very little knowledge about Bitcoin and its potential as a donation channel, store of value, and means of payment within non-profit organizations. Since then, we have pursued a shared mission:
